About the event
A fun and energetic class lead by Coach Roe! AMRAP stands for "as many reps as possible" or "as many rounds as possible. AMRAP workouts involve a series of exercises that are completing as many repetitions or rounds as possible in a set amount of time. Typically that means you rest as little as possible. this class starts off with a dynamic warm up leading into a cardio drill to get your heart rate up. Following your warm up and cardia drills will be a 25-30m session of AMRAP style training. (Routines change weekly -first class of the week) finished with core work and cool down/stretching All fitness levels are welcomed as Roe's motto is "you vs you" you go at your own pace and fitness level while still achieving a challenging workout, which is one of her favourite things about AMRAP style training. Benefits of this style of training: while elevating your heart rate and working at max or near max effort with minimal rest—provides several health benefits such as; increased muscle mass, improved aerobic capacity, and neuromuscular improvements.
